RE: Question about engine oil drain plug o ring gasket
not every time, after a while you will see it is spent. these things are ok for at least a few oil changes. if it starts to leak change it .they're cheap enough to keep around.
RE: Question about engine oil drain plug o ring gasket
Done four oil changes, haven't changed it yet, I look at it, clean it, put it back on. It ain't leaking either, so I'm good. Personal preference, I'd change it if I had any sitting around, but I don't.
Just like it's stated here, if you had to put a new one on after you changed your oil because the old one was leaking, you'll probally mess up the good oil, at least I would.[:-]
RE: Question about engine oil drain plug o ring gasket
Do not change if you enjoy seeing a pool of oil under your bike. Some people say its just their bike marking its territory. You spend thousands on bike now your worried about a quarter o ring. Cheap enough change every time.
