Default Clearview Windshield for RoadGlides

I was checking out their site today, they state that the windshield is 2 inches wider than stock. Has anyone had problems with their mirrors hitting the shield when the bars are turned fully in either direction? The reason I ask is I was out looking at the clearance between my stock windshield and my mirrors, not much there. I do not have stock mirrors.
Thanks

Yes I ordered a +2" for my '07 RG. Returned it for a stock height one. When I spoke with Clearview about the mirrors hitting the shield they said to move the handlebars - not an easy task that I can see. I have not received the stock height so I'll see how it works out anyway

No, that is one inch wider on either side. The mirrors aren't even close, and rotating the bars closer to you is fairly easy

On my 06 Road Glide, with the stock height Clearview shield on, my right mirror stalk, smacks the windshield when I lock the bars.

My first Clearview shield didn't hit, but, it was cut wrong and 3/4 of the windshield was on the left side of the fairing. This new one seems centered pretty good but the view is distortedin the middle of the shield and the mirror hits.

I think that it depends on how you mount your handlebars. If you mount them in a normal riding position there is no problem, if you mount them vertical they may hit the windshield when turning.
I have attached a picture of the Clearview medium height w/s on my '07 RG, Heritage Classic bars. Mounted at this angle, there is plenty of space to turn.
BTW, the only time you would need that much turning angle would be in a parking lot or garage.

I have Heritage 2"+ bars frome Khrome Works and have no problem at all. You just need to pull the bars back a little.
