Anyone out there with a RG, that purchased the chrome windshield trim, notice if it reduced windshield vibration at low rmp's ? I'm considering buying one after I repair the inner-fairing scratches on the windshield. The chrome trimwill notactually cover the scratches but if it reduces vibration might be worth it.
No stock piece of crap still flops around. Best fix is an aftermarket windshield. Chrome piece does look better then that ugly hunk of rubber on the front though.
I put one on mine, and it seemed to help alot, didnt really notice it at first, but one day while riding, I looked at it and noticed it didnt move as much. But it was a biotch to put on. have some one there to help.Or your'll put more scratch's in it.
Thanks for the advice. Haven't had the windshield off yet so it may be a bitch for me to reinstall even without the chrome trim.
You guys must be getting as much do at the office as I am.
