I have the leather Tour-Pak and added a chrome luggage rack and a Kuryakyn relocator. Very nice setup. The relocator give the biker babe full use of the passenger seat - otherwise a full 2 inches of seat wasted behind the backrest - unless she has a big butt. What chick wouldn't like an extra 2 inches.
Installed "Contoured Tour-Pak Luggage Rack 79148-06A " & look great
Easy to install, just drill 4 holes on the correct place
I did the same with mine. I've never put anything on it yet, but wouldn't hesitate, it 's pretty solid. I thought it would cave in the lid but it's great and it looks good IMO.
I think the RKC leather Tour Pack doesn't hold enough stuff though. I would get the Premium leather Pack if I were doing it all over again.
Mine is never on my bike unless I go on a trip, and holds all the stuff that I might want to get to quickly out on the road.
i just put a leather tour pak on MY HERITAGE..It does not seem very strong, and it i am wondering if i should have gone with the hard pak,.it cost almost the same as a hard pak.The size was a problem with the hard pak, kind of BIG!
