Speedometer problem
A friend of mine bought one of the Harley speedomer/tachometer combinations for his road king, he's having problems with it, has anyone installed one of these and had problems, like it flat won't work. thanks

if the bike is computer controlled you may have tocalibrate it, here's my understanding on how you do it, mine is an 07 ultra with tmax computer,you turn the throttle all the way and turn the ignition key on (DO NOT START THE BIKE) also be sure to turrn the power switch on the handlebar the speedo will begin to climb in numbers of 5-10 mph for example my bike is set to 40 mph for caliberating to my trans and tires so when it hits 40 i let off the throttle and turn on the hazard flashers to set it, then turn the flashers off and key, this is what was in my computers directions(tmax) i dont know if this will help but it cant hurt by the way my trans is 6 speed and tire size is 16 stock different combos require different mph settings for caliberating.
