103 upgrade..HOW MUCH?
How much will it cost to upgrade a stock 06 to a 103 258 cam, to a 103 high output 257 cam, or a 103 with 50mm tb and a 264 cam? Those are the 3 options in the 06 SE book.

why don't you just get a v-rod? never did really see the point of doing a bagger up with big horsepower. stock engine with pipes, air and pcIII will give you a real strong bike if it is tuned by a pro. 75 hp with reliability, fuel economy and rideability makes for a real nice ride.

you live in texas Larry and you could be out riding. I live in Canada, my ride is up on a jack with the battery plugged in until late April (2 feet of snow). I don't have anything better to do! At least you made me laugh.

yeah the weather here is great, only problem is I am healing up from a little wreck I had, wont be too much longer though, I broke my right leg and tore up the ankle, had surgery to have 2 titanium cables put in my ankle. I am able to walk with a cane now and took a short ride Saturday.

i personaly would only spend the money and do a 95 in kit. you still get good numbers but you'll save yourself several grand..A 103 kit is going to be around 5k a 95in kit is around 2500.. ant its easier on the rest of the bike.

I understand that after pipes, air cleaner and SERT the big power bottleneck is the heads. This V twin motor should produce 1 hp per cubic inch. The heads are already insufficient for the 88 cubes it already has. In fact the evo heads flow better than the stock 88 heads. So if you are going to go to a 95 you amplify this problem unless you have larger intake valves and ported intake on the heads. This will allow the heads to serve the 95 cubes properly.

I see now that you are from northern ON. Do you plan on going to the HOG rally in Owen Sound next summer? Also is there any way you can set up so that a photo will be automatic when you post? I can't figure it out.
