sert/air/slip-ons ,then a short dyno(2 runs),I couldsee on the print out where on the second run the fuel graph changed from around 14.1 across to 13.1 across.well even the oil cooler hardley gets even warm now were as before itwould gethot after a brief warm up period.Like the saying goes-dont know how good it is til its gone or somthing like that
(had added oil cooler, synth oil, removed lowers in summer, still noticed the engine was just too hot, althoughthese stepsmade mefeel a lot better physically-heatwise,just knew this was not right in the stock form)
i would be seriously concerned about how much heat the trap. and besides, I think they look like sh*t, not a hell of a lot of engineering went into them by what the picture shows. trust me, do a search here and you will find the RJs are the way to go. do it right the first time and get the RJs. They work!! Look good and you won't find a better guy than RJ to deal with. In this case, you get exactly what you pay for.
How do you get to you drivers seat adjustment with the RJ's? Mine is right where the tank and seat meet and it seems that the seat adjustment would be covered. The RJ's are a solid piece (aren't they), where the Shamrocks are pliable and can be lifted up to access the adjuster. I looked at the pic's on their web site and read their stuffand they do not seem to be much different (other than pliable) to the RJ's. Just trying to get some ideas.
