Default Looking through/over a winshield?

How many of you folks look through the windshield and not over it?? Is it bad either way? I'm not that tall, (5'10') and without that "BMW" riding posture, I find myself looking through more than over. Any pros or cons, or is it just that way? I haven't had much of a problem...yet, but on the way to work this A.M. I hit a little fog and my indshield fogged up a bit. Just wondering.

I ride to work almost every morning and the fog sometimes creeps up. Also rain is a pain. There is no way I could look thru the windshield. I have a lowered CV and look over at all times with not much wind issues.

Typically I look through it, at a comfortable posture. In heavy rain, though...It is important that you are able to look over it. There is a spot where I can sit up a little straighterto seejust over the actual edge of the windshield, where the wind is reflected over my head so I can still see. Works for me.

I prefer to look through the windsheild so I like the seasons that allow me to run my full length windsheild, however, when the heat sets in and summertime finds me, I put the shorty windscreen on and look over it.............but again, my preference is to look through my windshield.

I look over mine. I have an RK and had the stock windshield. I bought a new one that is 4" shorter and it is perfect height for me as wind passes over my helmet and I get no buffetting.

I cut it down to size so I can always look over it. I use prescription glasses with safety lenses for eye protection and a face shield in the rain.

Over it even though it's a perfect position for being hit by highway flotsom and jetsom.

I look over it. I'm 6' 8" tall... not much of a choice for me.
