I am looking into buying a seat for my 04 e-glide and am looking for road glide seat but have come across a 07 street glide seat is it the same as road glide???
or should i keep looking I am looking for a seat that is lower and for around town THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ADVICE!!!!!!! TIM.......(jakester)[sm=thanx.gif]
It will fit, it doesn't come up as far on the tank as the e-glide seat butthey make a dash extender to take up the space.Or you can get the street glide dash too.
My question is, you sure you want a streetglide seat? I think it would be safe to say most people consider them uncomfortable. Otherwise, to answer what you asked, yeah itll fit, but there will be a gap up front unless you get a console extention.
The RG seat is actually a little more narrow at the nose. That allows you better feet plant w/o having to make the seat thinner. Get the RG seat. You won't regret it.
Street Glide seat will not fit correctly on other touring bikes. The seat pan is flat and not notched for the saddlebag guards. You can make it fit, but there will be a gap between the seat and the frame.
