08 Ultra
I can't do math that good.......
Hand assembled...CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) bike..Look under the tank for the assemblers sig.
limited production numbers.
Alot of hipe.........what is it worth to you?
The engine and electronics were totally redesigned in 08, very smooth fast andpowerful from 1500 RPM (yes 1500) to redline, no transmission clunk or whine. Rides great! To many options to mention, ABS, Leather, 40 watt stereo with GPS and XM, billet chrome, and more chrome.
Have 1500 miles so far , awsome bike, It is a limited production bike, holds it's value, go for itwhile dealers are selling at MSRP.
I can assure you, you won't be sorry !!!!!!!!
Already had an offer for $5,000 over what I paid, the SE's are becoming hard to get.
I can't say enough about this bike except looks like Harley has their act together on this one!!!
Good luck!

I just purchased an 07 Classic and love it, being an average working guy my money would go with the top of line Goldwing even though I prefer HD. About 24,000 for the GW and it lacks nothing I can see though I admit it won't hold value as well. Now if I had a six figure income then yeah, maybe the CVO Ultra. (Here is what 24 grand will get ya ) Please don't bash me over this, playing the devils advocate here..

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Do you have the quick release trunk setup, might wanna take mine off now and again...
The quick release kit is nice, but a bit pricey at about $250. for the kit. I would also suggest, unless you have a lot of patience and good wrenching skills to let someone, like your dealer or an indie that has doen one before do it. It isn't straight forward, and the directions suck.
If you do a search out here there are better directions and pictures than anything that comes out of the box from Harley.
I find that taking mine off is something I like to do in the warmer weather.. now that the cool weather is here in New England, it's nice having the storage for all of my layers of clothing as they come off as the day warms up and then go back on again as the day cools off. Things like leather pants, heavier gloves, electric jacket liner etc. The extra storage is nice for that.
Also want to get the "laid back" license plate bracket that gives you a much cleaner look when you have the tour-pak off.
