This may sound stupid but I was wundering if the passenger on one Ultra could talk to the passenger on another Ultra through the CB without the aid of the driver running some buttons?

 

Yep. They have a PTT switch of their own...

 

Wonderful! the reason I ask is whenI get the bike the wife can talk to my buddies wife while were traveling and I can listen to my IPOD and not have to listen to her conversation. Life is gonna be great!

Whoa, hoss!! Ya didn't say NUTHIN' 'bout bein' separate systems - they are NOT. What she hears, you hear - unless ya turn the volume down on the comm unit for yer headsets, an' have them on. But then you won't hear none of it.

 

Not a problem, I'll be using the ear buds that came with the IPOD and just put the IPOD in my shirt pocket on my playlist..............my own little world......when she gets tired of talking I'll just jack into the bike radio.for all to hear, she'll be sleepingby then anyway.
