Gflht windshield height which do you like best?
I am looking to get a shorter windshield for my Electra Glide. It is black in color and going with a tinted one. I was wondering if you have one what size 8,9,10? Also, which is the best for wind blockage or comfort? Thanks

I use the rule of thumb to use a windshield that is just below level with your nose. That way you can see over it when you need to and see though it if needed. I have a 10" smoke colored on mine and i am 5'8" and it is fine except sometimes at night I wished itwas clear.

I have a 6 smoked and 10 clear. Don't use either one except on trips or when its cold which does not happen to often in south Florida. If you buy atall one,night time driving with the smoked shield will be dangerous IMO.

I have a 9.5 inch smoked Clearview. I am 5/10, and my line of sight is about 2-3 inches over the top of it. It is low enuff that night riding is NP, and as it is a Clearview, it has a "recurve" at the top, so it provides about the same level of wind protection that the 12 inch stock HD windshield did.
