i hat eot admit it but....the same thing happened to me on my lowered Heritage...rode it up, bottom got caught on the ramp or something, felt it going over and my foot grabbed nothing but air!!!...but i held on, took the tumble, saving it from any real damage (used my body as soft cushion...lol)...hurt my back a lil but the bike was fine...crawed out and immediately flipped her back over...i looked around making believe i wanted to do that but i don't think the neighbors saw a thing...
moral of the story..DON'T RIDE THE BIKE UP THE RAMP if you can help it...glad you're OK
I did the same thing with my ATV loading it on my pick up with ramps and it flippped over about three times on a concrete driveway. After replacing almost all the plastic on the damn thing the next purchase was a trailer.
I knew it!!! I guessed that what happened... I seen the same thing in person at the drivers test. No one could pass the test they all had big bikes but me and another guy. That day this guy who had loaded his little Honda by riding it up the ramps unloaded it again. He did so to let the other guys there take the test on his bike after they failed, nice guy huh? Well that did the trick everyone passed and after everyone thanked him he rode up the ramps to the top to load it and stalled it!!! Over it went and I nearly peed myself. First time I seen your photo thats what I thought of!
Reminded me of how I would setup my Huffy to oil the chain. I think we have all been a victim of our own ambitions at onetime or another. How does the HDF saying go???
I know this is an old thread, I hope everything has worked out. You are about to hit your next level as far as posts go. 300 posts to get to Senior Rider. Can you putan Ultra Glide through a Greg Luganis head on the diving board type tumble....I mean, if you plan on outdoing yourself and whatnot....j/k. Glad you are okay. Sorry to see that happen.
