Cache, did the opposite took off cop seat and put on custom. Should be no problem air bag threads to battery box probably the only problem. Air cannister can be mounted in saddlebag. I put the cop seat back on occasionaly just for a change. It sits way high, changes the positioning of the windsreen and bars.
I removed the cop seat from my Roadking.I didn't like sitting so high and it raised the center of gravity making it less nimble in turns.It's not a complicated setup.You should have no problem installing it.
