Default Motorcycle Covers

For the Garage, what do you recommend cover wise?
I see allot of companies selling them.
I’m going to buy one.
So anyone actually have one and don’t like it? and Why?

I haveone from Dowco for touring bikes, very good quality. My father inlaw bought it for me about 3 yrs ago.I probly have used it less than 6 times!
The thing is,when I get back from a ride the bike is too hot to place the cover on.By the time I remember to put the cover on the bike itis very dusty, dont want to scratch it.

Inside a garage...an old worn out bedsheet to keep the dust off.

Won't trap moisture, won't scratch the paint, keeps it concealed from a casual glace when the door is open.

California Car Cover, very nice covers, soft on the inside, and very well made, long enough for touring bikes with tall windsheilds. I've got one for the RK/custom, like it very much. Not cheap, but, will last forever, or go to wally world, spend 20 bucks for a nylon type.

Here is the best dust cover I have found and the price is great. It is real soft and will not scratch the bike. Nelson-Rigg brand XXL for touring.

Been using an old sheet for years for in-the-garage storing. Costs nothing, lets air circulate and keeps the dust off.

Price is right even it only lasts a year = Price: $17.95

I forgot all about California Car Cover. I have one of their catalog here someplace.
They usually have quality stuff too.
Thanks

add 10.00 for XXL to that = $27.95 for baggers . I had the $150.00 105th HD cover and it was rough as hell and had velcro for an opening to let the antennas come through. I took that one back and got this one much happier. I did get to test a smaller one at a local bike shop but they did not have the XXL for baggers so had to order online.

Some good covers have heat shields on the bottom so you don't have to worry about your exhaust melting the cover. I have a cover from Honda [:-]that works really well, and I use it anytime I won't be riding the bike for a while (like say a week).
