Now that's funny. Same thing happened to me last year coming up the coast. Exactly what I did, except I had no cruise at the time.
I live in Albuquerque, and the winds were strong here, as well. My brother in law, up in castle Rock (south of Denver), said he got 5 inches of snow this weekend.[:@]
Yep we've got the damned Santa Ana winds here in So Cal this weekend and it's just starting to blow today. Supposed to be 3 days of 40-50 mph winds i think. Not alot of fun to ride in, but some bikes deal with it better than others.
Yeah they are a real bitch too! Gusts of up to 108mph were recorded yesterday. Couldn't see crap because of the dust and ash in the air from the fires. Smells like a damn campfire inside my house.
