flhrp windshield

I have been trying to find a windshield for a 1997 flhr/ flhrp ?? I just bought. None of the shields Ive tryed fit . Is there a special windshield bracket for the police version? Are the headlight cover mounts different from regular road kings?

I would not think so. As far as I know, the only real difference is in the wiring. But, I will bump this back up and see if any of the police bike guys can help you out.

I owned a 2001 FLHRP and now I have a 2007 FLHR. For my Police Road King I had two windshields, the extra tall onon that comes onthe police bikesand a normal height windshied that comes onregular Road Kings. They both fit fine. As far as I can remember (sold the FLHRP a couple of years ago) there is nothing different between the mounts of the FLHRP and FLHR. The only difference in the headlight is that it is painted black on the police bike and itis chromed on the regular bike.
