Have any of the 'early adopters" for IDS been able to get their $100 back from the promotion? I'm going to approach my dealer about it, but would like to know others experience.
TR
Yep, did it last week at Victoria H-D. Didn't have to ask them about the elbow Grease Rebate. They told me about it before I knew anything about it. Apeeears to be a laundry list of services that qaulify an IDS install is one of them.
My dealer would have honored the $100 discount off the labor if I had purchased the part from them. Since I didn't, I didn't get the elbow grease discount, but I paid about $100 less for the part from Zanotti's so it all worked out.
We were up at Manchester HD in NH this weekend. It was funny how some
people here asked Dealers near them about the "Elbow Grease" program and
their Dealers said they didn't know about them. At Manchester HD they had
a POSTER size chart hanging from the ceiling with whole BUNCH of
Elbow Grease Programs and yes the IDS was there.
Rob ......
Right. I understand it is not free. Maybe I didn't word the question properly.
I had my IDS installed back in August. I paid full price. I just wanted to know if anyone else had done the same thing and went back after the fact and asked and recieved the $100 from the promotion.
