Default Road Glide Help- Lowers and Paks

I've been thinking about ordering lowers for my 08 RG after reading many posts from you RG owners and seeing your pics. I saw my first set in person today on a new Red RG at the local HD store. They look great from the front but the inside is not very attractive. Has anyone found an easy way to dress these up a bit?

Also, thinking about Tour Packs. I agree with many the chopped looks better but the King makes more sense. What do you have and would you choose it again? Can you move both forward? I currently have the detachable sissy bar and luggage rack.

Thanks for your help, this is a great scource of help with friendly folks! This is my first HD so I'm going kind a slow.

I have the king pack and would miss the storage on road trips if it were smaller, I am very happy with both the lowers and the pack

I love the detachable stuff I have a 2 up ultra tour pack with speakers a sissybar backrest and a solo tour pack mount that I going put a aftermarket chopped pack on 10 minutes and I can totally change my Road Glide! The lowersI can't say enough about! Plug an I-pod in and your're set!
The chopped tour pak I'm setting up for the solo mount

I agree with Ice Heritage. I have the chopped pak and have traveled across country and back twice with it and had plenty of room with it and the saddle bags. Of course I was traveling alone, but if you do a lot of two up trips, I guess the King would be a better choice.

I think the chopped definately looks best on a RG. JMHO!!!!

I've got the lowers with the glove boxes and the King tour pac. The tour pac is detachable and I amthinking getting a solo seat and the detachable rack so I can use the tour pac for the back rest. I just got a Road Zeppelin seat, so that may not happen anytime soon.. I also think the King is the way to go. I can put a helmet or two in there and it's still got room for more. It's just way too handy...
