I gotta agree with all who say go 21" the first time.. I had an 18/18 combo on my Heritage, and that was only cause I didn't want to run a 2.15 front... I don't think they had the 21 X3.25/3.5's at the time... Go 21".. you won't regret it...
Couple of questions here. I just bought a 21" 80 spoke for the front , waiting for the 120/90/21 Dunlap Elite tire. The 21" tires ive seen are radial, the rears (16") are Bias. Does this make a difference? and how will the 16 & 21 combo work out? The load rating on the front tires are about 200 pounds less than the stock 16", is this a concern? Thanks
Go with the 21inch there is not much of a difference in cost between the two.. Plus you are gonna wish you got a 21 when you see the 18.. there is no comparison.. IMHO
Don't be afraid to go with the 21" front and 18" rear. You will not regret it. Bike looks and handles better. I really like the way the 21" wheels fill the front fender. And they are the same price!!
Damn all you guys and your extra 3"s made me finally pull the trigger and buy a 21 for mine now[:@] I ordered it a couple weeks ago from Hogpro and Jerry told me most likely 3 weeks before delivery so I am still waiting but it won't be long now
