Default Question for Bay Area, CA members

I am thinking about doing some engine mods this winter. Got a couple questions...

First, was thinking about the 95 inch kit and cam to go with air intake, Thunderhead, and power commander. Couple guys I have talked to, said don't bother, that I wouldn't see that much of a difference. So, know I am thinking about going 103, what do you think?

Second, has anyone heard of Godspeed in Oakland? Do they do good work? Or can you recommend some other shop in the General Bay Area that does good work? I had heard of Godspeed and then saw them on Discovery Channel, they seem to have good prices for what I want done. What do you think a fair price for parts and labor would be?

Last question, what cam do you recommend and should I go with gear drive or stick with chain drive?

I appreciate any help....been saving all summer for this motor mod and want to get it done right.

I had a 95" stage IV and currently have a 103 stage II.

With a 99 model going to a 103 costs a lot more as you have to split the cases for the stroker kit.I'd suggest going with a 98" kit with heads from GMR performance , you can get plenty of grunt ,and Steve is great to deal with . My 95 dyno is there
"SE perf 31Gcl"

See http://www.gmrperformance.com/GMRPer...yno_Charts.htm

The 98 with heads and a 37g has the same output as my 103 ...

Your local wrench can do the install.
