Anyone going to the Rocky Point Rally (Nov 8-11) in Puerto Penasco, Mexico? We're leaving Reno, NVthe 8th and will arrive on the 9th. Looks like fun in the sun.
Hey old gezr I have been planning that trip for the last two weeks. Leaving from Great Falls the 7th or 8th. Have to be back morning of the 13th. Going to trailer to St George, ride from there. My wife and I were at Rocky Point in Jan. Took the motorhome hauled the bike. No wife this time just a guy thing.

Hell I wouldn't go to Rocky Point if it was the last place on earth to visit. I don't cross into Mexico anymore, especially now with the lines at the borderwhere you may have to wait 4 hours to get back to the USA, no thanks.
Last Sunday, at the Sonoyta-Lukeville border station, we waited in line 3&1-2 hours to get back, at 1045 am andthe linewas getting longer....our friends had no wait, at0700 am...planyour crossing time with this in mind - we were in cars - that wait would be miserable on a m-c
I have been going to Rocky Point for 20+ years. Lock your **** up at night and if theres a security guard where you stay, buy him a soda and tip him a $20.
Heck ya we are going! Went last year and had a Great Time!
We are heading down on the 7th and comming back on the 12th.
Last year we left the hotel at 0700 and maybe had a 5 min. wait at the border. All the folks that left between 1000 - 1300 were all complaining about 3 -4 hr waits. Heck from the hotel to the garage in Tucson took us 5 hrs. and that was with a breakfast and gas stop.
