Default Tmax problem

Just wondering if anyone running the Zipper Thunder Max(full system)has had a problem where the speedo & tack stop working.Alsothe check engine light and charging light came on. It was just after I got on the bike and I notice the problem. It appeared to run fine.I stop and shut the bike down and then restarted it and it was fine. Anyone else have this happen?

Don't have the paper work with me, but on the back side of the instructions it shows where to correct the speedo calibrations if you read it. Under basic settings you got to change the Speedo calibrations, the Gear TPS and the final drive settings. I had a full Thundermax on my Wide glide.

Yup, had it happen twice. Both times were after I made adjustments to the exisiting map. Now I reload the map, clear the IAC stops and do the IAC init thing. That seems to prevent it.

It's happened twice to me as well. Turning the ignition on and off brought it right back both times. Neither time had I made any adjustments at all. I was told, don't remember by who, that Zippers is aware of the issue and that when the new firmware if finally "officially" released, there will be a fix for this. I'm running an early version of the new firware right now though. It ain't been fixed yet!

Thanks stro1965 that sounds like the issue. Itmust be a glitch in the software and the key recycle basicly is like rebooting your computer. Was it under a hard accel when you had your problem?

No. One time I was running through the gears here in town, riding easy. The second time I was cruising on the interstate when it happened.

They are suppost to be taking my T-Max off my 07 Wide glide. Now if they can come out with a fix for the DBW on the 08 models so I can use it on my electra glide.

Haven't had that problem but something weird did happen. While riding along in 6th gear pulled clutch in and let motor idle. 6th gear light went out let clutch out and back to speed it came back on. Tried it several times same results. Don't guess it hurts anything just weird. Anybody else have this?
