Notised if I was in 6th and tried to pull up on the shifter the 6th gear light would go out, I would shift back to 5th then 6th and it would come back on.
Today my speedo started "dancing" back and forth between 35mph, and 80mph. It's done this before too. It would hold steady for a second, then start dancing. This made the cruise control inoperative, and the automatic volume control on the radio go up and down too. Like the others, I had to pull over, shut the bike off, then restart it. It seemed to run okay after that.
I didn't know there was a firmware update for that. I hope it comes out soon.
Been running a T-Max on my Wide Glide for some time now. Haven't had a single problem with it. I will take the T-Max with auto tune over anything. Got a lot of friends with the T-Max on their bikes too.
It makes it run that good.
Cowboy Harley is suppose to be taking my Thundermax with A/T off my 07 Wide Glide. My 08 Electra Glide Standard has Drive By Wire. I called Zippers and they told me that they are working on a software update that should be out sometime after the 1st of the year to fix the DBW problem so I can use it on my 08 bike.
That is just what I wanted to hear.

Just wondering if anyone running the Zipper Thunder Max(full system)has had a problem where the speedo & tack stop working.Alsothe check engine light and charging light came on. It was just after I got on the bike and I notice the problem. It appeared to run fine.I stop and shut the bike down and then restarted it and it was fine. Anyone else have this happen?
Yep... It's happened to me twice now with the "new and improved" 4.5 firmware.
I've submitted the problem to Zipper Tech Support.
