A question forthose that have dual exhaust on a Twin Cam 88.
Do you need to use a more restrictive slipon with dual exhaust
than with the stock head pipes with the crossover?
Mine are low restrictive SE 64903-99 one piece.
I want to clean up the look and get rid of the extra heat.
I will also like the equal sound from both mufflers.
I am trying not to lose low end torque.
I am thinking about Vance & Hines dual head pipes.
What do you think?
Thanks,
magnoliarunner
I don't know if this helps but I have V&H dresser dual pipes into 4" Peacemakers. When I run with the exhaust loud(open) there is noticeably more power. When I runquiet it feels like less power than I had with the stock exhaust.
