Default Smart alarm

What would you think of an alarm similiar to HD's smart alarm. Works with a key fob and arms and disarms from approx 10' away.Works on all HD's from 85 and newer. All for $249.95 installed.
Good? Bad?

If ya already have the HD Fob set-up it would be cheaper just to add the other 2 options.. If not... Go for it..

Hmm I maybe confused, but in my neck of the woods to add a smart alarm is almost $390.00?
Is that the same buy you? I want to sell this product, just seeing what type of feedback I'd get?

I'd spend the extra $ 50.00 and get a top-shelf alarm from Aritronix. I've had one of their systems and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat!

HD Smart Securty System $289.95 (The FOB)
HD Smart Siren $89.95 (optional)
HD Smart Pager $69.95 (optional - does eat up the batteries!)

Like I was saying... almost all the bikes out here (unless special ordered) already come equipt with the FOB System already installed

I just put the Smart Siren II on last week and also purchased the Pager II as well. I love it, however, in hindisight I should have went with the rechargeable pager. That's what I get for not checking here first. [:@]

Like Pappy said, she eats the batteries pretty good. I just carry a spare or two in the tour pak when we travel.

Eventually, I'm going to wire it up to double or triple A's to overcome this.

So I could have Spent an extra $ 200 more with Harley-Davidson and had the same features, and pay them to install it? Where did I go so wrong?
