Front axle nut is 50-55ft-lb. Use a screw driver or rod through the hole in the axle to hold while tightening the axle nut. Insert a 7/16 drill bit in the axle hole. Pull fork leg so that it just contacts the drill bit, and then tighten the axle holder nuts to 132-180 in-lbs. Remove drill bit. This is from the 2007 Touring manual.
