Why should we weep? I think it's great that an American company is exporting its products to other countries. Maybe a little of our American values and spirit can creep into their culture if they embrace the MoCo and its products.

I went to the Harley shop in Berlin many years ago, all excited to get something cool and to my surprise the shop looked almost exactly like the shop at home! The only things that were unique at all were the "Berlin HD" t-shirts that were going for $50......

I got a chance to spend some time in moscow 2weeks to be exact. what a great place people were very nice and the sites were great. didnt get a chance to make it to the harley shop otherwise I would have grabbed a ****. yeah prices on shirts overseas are incredible picked up a shirt while in beijing china it was $50 as well. look at the price of a vrod there as well it was going for around $32k. all the import taxes really jack up the prices.

I have a (some 10yrs old) t-shirt that has a finnish dealers name etc and "Helsinki, last stop before Moscow".Helsinki being Finlands capital city and as youmight know Russia is the next country when I leave from Finland going east.(Which I actually haven“t done, never been in Russia....Don“t even want to go there, I prefer europe, Germany, Czech etc.)

BTW. that t-shirt drew some attention when I wore it approx. 4yrs ago in my two week trip to Florida...

I have one from the Hong Kong dealer (Techno Harley Davidson). Got it on one of my trips over there. I don't wear it much, but when I do people always ask me about it.

That one from Russia is cool.
