I had was just giving that bike as an example. I am starting to research the electra glides and similar models and I am curious if there is any well known issues to look for...

Once ya have that all sorted out, ah'd put out a "Hey, Rube" call here if ya spot sumthin' of interest. Ah'm bettin' most of us would be happy ta go check it out fer ya. Ain't nuthin' better'n an independent set of eyes on sumthin'!

Check out the same things that you would check on your own bike, then check the service records is you can to see if it was maintained... Have a dealer pull up the service bulletins and see if they have any issues with the year bagger you are looking at.... Bring another set of eyes with you because you will be blinded to the little things because your looking toget a bagger

This can be the best time of year to buy. Scored my '05 EG Standard last Fall from a dealer, too! 4,800 mileson it; got it for $12,250 plus a free helmet! Bring a friend shopping who owns a dresser and knows what to look for...
