Wally Oil Temp Guage Question
I just noticed last night that the needle on my oil temp gauge is bouncing all over the place. Has anyone else had this happen? I was in the fairing, running some wires for an accessory and it is possible that I knocked something loose. Just thought I would throw this out there for some comments before I open the faring again.

If you find the gauge is bad, I have one for sale. Complete with box, instructions,and all wiring, looks new. I ran theWally gaugefor a while on my 05 Classic but took it off before I traded it in. I went with the HD gauge in my 06 Ultra. Sell it for $50.

Mine did that and I called Roger Mcewen who makes the Wally's gauge and he sent me a new one. I ended up just replacing the sending unit. Roger said usually when there is a problem like the needle bouncing it isa short in the wire where the wire insulation has worn thru. That was not the case the sending unit on mine went bad.
