traded in my 06 RKC, hated to get rid of that bike but, after an 1800 mile tripe to Tennessee and back, I had to get a more comfortable ride. Anyway, the 08's are awesome. I love the "throttle by wire", although it takes some getting used to and the Brembo brakes are great. Bike actually stops when I grab a handful. The 6 gallon tank looks a little weird after staring at my RoadKing though, it is a lot fatter. Should call this model the "Fat Glide" although I like having the extra fuel. Only have 144 miles on it but love it so far.
WhatRD said! I went from a 02 heritage to the07 UCof all bikes we absolutely love this bike. My wife and I just smile at folksthat don't know what we know. And with all the bikes we owned or riddentrust me when we say "oh we know." And now so do you or soon will with a couple more miles on her.
Congratulations, sweet indeed it is yes sweet indeed it is
Traded my RK for the Ultra for the same reason. I needed more comfort on long rides. I am very happy, even the seat and handle bars work for me. I've already taken a long trip (Ohio to Florida and back)and like everything about this bike. (Still stock)
