Say it isn't so!
What a gorgeous bike.
Oh well.. fun on two wheels is fun on two wheels and it's pretty much a totally different story going on long trips on that tour bike I guess.
I just want all the pictures to that softail for ideas when I get to work on my fatboy.. That bike IS gorgeous. I've got a thing about blue bikes. Appears that you do too. [sm=morning.gif]
Who ever got you softail is a happy camper. But you want regret have the bagger for one minute. So tell me did you have a moment with you bike before you sold it to the guy. I know you told him to take care of your first love.
It was very tough, but it is something I to do because it was being neglected after I bought the EG. My original plan was to keep both and use the EG for long rides and the Softail for just cruising.....even though I have taken that bike on some very long rides and had no complaints whatsoever, it just didn't work out that way. I decided I would much rather be on the EG! The comfort of a bagger is just unbeatable!! There should be a 1-800 number to call before you sell your bike so someone can try and talk you out of it!!!!!
I agree... I traded my '03 Heritage (nicely done w/ chrome, studs and leather) for a '05 Ultra. My heart still skips a beat when a good looking Softail goes by, but I keep telling myself "I'm more comfortable, I can ride longer, etc...." Maybe I'll soon believe it....
