Default Florida drivers are nuts........
Just moved downsouth of jacksonville from Pa. and have noticed that it seems like everybody here wrecks their automobiles.. It's dangerous down here riding my RKC. Talk about driving defensively!!!!! Drivers down here are crazy. felt much safer riding in PA. Good points,rode today in shorts and shortsand T-shirt.Couldn't be doing that in NE Pa.No winter storage for me this year.Ride safe.

Wait till you've been here for a summer and you'll discoverthey're not really FL drivers (they go back home in the spring). [8D]

Welcome to FL lol. I've been living here since 88. Lived in S. Florida just outside of Lauderdale until 03 and moved to the Panhandle. Most of the drivers you'll run into after Thanksgiving thru Easter are Snowbirds... aka NOT from Florida lol.

Don't ride in town if you can help it run south and west great roads out that way, nice ride to crystal river, gainsville, daytona, ocala, won't take you long to find some good rides, like you said you can ride all year but yes they will run your a$$ over in town. Ride safe.

I hear ya. Rode to Key West from VA back in Aprildown 95 to Miami. Never again!!! unless I get a death wish.

I'm in central florida and watch out for the ole slow ones that have bar code stickers on the left rear window. Walking wounded and they will make a right from the middle lane.
