Sounds like we're gonna have to arrange an HDF Drag weekend somewhere in the midwest for summer 2008. There's a few builds in here that i'd love to run down the track with. Who wants to arrange an HDF drag event for Big Twins and Bagger?
The best time would be the week before Sturgis for me? Should have my 131" this winter. Who, what, where, and when?
Ooops I did overlook that little fact about the 98"... my bad.. I think I'm gonna switch... Plus when I go to the HQ site the 39 doesn't show as an option on the build i chose...That should tell me sumthin huh!!
bored jugs, pistons, cams (gear or chain), head work, push rods, push rod covers, compression release valves. go check out http://www.head-quarters-usa.com/
Yes fish I would switch. I'm sure it's not too late.
The 575 is better @ 10.5:1. Mine 98" build was 10:1.
If I were doing that build over, it would be @ 10.5:1, with 575's. In fact, the same can be said for the 95 or 98" version.
The cam available for selection depends on whether you select "Touring" or "Sport Touring". They are different "packages". Remember my mantra: Use components that Compliment one another!
Rod,I'm running the 575 in my bike and I can say that it turned on real good with my 95".It will jump on 95 very quick 2 up with 50 lbs of stuff on the bike in 5th gear. Now that I'm running a 103",I can't say enough good things about the HQ parts.
Just think Craig... you're only a set of jugs & pistons away from a 113" now! [8D]
Well, maybe just a touch of machining....
LOL,dammit Phil.don't go putting ideas in my head.
