Gonna do the HQ 103" build.. about 110HP... What clutch do you guys recommend.. I do not want to increase the pull by very much but I don't want the clutch to disintigrate either... I have no idea who makes a good clutch for the harley... Also, on my sportbike I used a slipper clutch, is there such a thing for our touring bikes?
That is what I used on my 98" build & it held up just fine. I did use one of the S/E "heavy springs" as well ~ both the heavy spring and a VPC.
If you'd like a replacement clutch, consider the Primo ProClutch. It hold much more power (I've read many use this on 124" builds) and has a very light lever pull. It uses the stock clutch basket.
I have decided to give the Baker KKK a shot on my 120" build. It'll be overkill for my little motor, but I like what I see and have heard about it.
I have the same question for my 120" build....talked to Baker and the KKK clutch is not available for the 07's yet, nor does Primo have an available complete unit, although they do have replacement discs and pressure plate available. I will probably go with the Aim VPC 94T but am leery of adding the heavy (SE) spring to the unit as it increases clutch lever effort.
