Good job John! Glad that both you & Dawn are OK.
It's really difficult to 2nd guess or could'a / would'a / should'a. There are always unique variables to these situations that dictate what can or can't be done.
As I was reading your post, I was thinking that it "may" have been possible to power thru, which would prevent or minimize the highside effect when the rear when instantly grabs taction. But as I read on.... I realized the it's just about impossible to speculate.
Agian.... glad all is well!

Aye thanks all.... Thought I did everything right... I keep running it threw my head...... I don't think I would have done anything different.... except less throttle.... Damn this HQ build lol

Glad it all worked out for ya brother.
I've done that several times, could'a /should'a /would'a /how in the F did I save that? There are very few times when you have a definitive answer to those type of questions.
The one thing I do know......Spray-n-Wash and Shout work wonders to get the stains out!!

very hard to speculate,but the throttle is your friend....powering through also can get you you "threw"
"when in doubt...power out" comes to mind.
glad you kept it up and no harm was done except for the skivvies
