You could make them fit, but they have a different bearing size so you couldn't just buy them and slap them on your existing axles. I believe it's 25mm, but not sure.

25mm is 1 inch so they are the same only difference is if it had abs!

Not the same. Axle diameter is different. Lower legs from a 07 touring model will not fit an 08. Lower leg is slightly different in axle opening. Sorry!!

* 25 millimeter = 0.984 251 969 inch
*I am asking another person to physically measure the wheel bearing cup depth. He is in New Zeland The 2000-2007 are 0.983”deep. I measured the wheel bearing cup depth myself on a surface table.

*The 25mm axle sealed bearings are thinner. When I get some information concerning the actual bearing cup depth I shall inform the original writer of the post. This is potentially very important. I believe the 3/4" & 1" bearing size is 52mm X . For now. please refer to the photo above DAWG until I can get actual facts.

* In answer to the writers post, Minus the hub detail, If the hub is the same bearing cup depth than yu would need 2 X 1" wheel bearings + one x 1" axle wheel bearing collar per wheel. I buy the KLM wheel bearing in bulk so I can supply them to you in the $10-$11 range each bearing. The spacer will cost you around $10 1/2 each at HD. Remember that you can not use the 25mm spacer as it will not fit over your axle.

*BTW, Harley's new 25mm wheel bearing is only single sealed instead of its old double sealed 1" / 3/4" bearings. This means more bearing failure. Never pressure clean the bearings, no matter what size you have.

Please check this fact out for yourself. The part # are the same. Let us ask DAWG as he has just completed buying new lags and having them powder coated. He can physically measure them to confirm this fact. I have not personally held both in my hand and I am going by information from Paul from Lyndall Racing Brake from a previous conversation. I have also asked several other about this and all have confirmed this fact to me. I would prefer to measure them myself but as of yet, have not had the opportunity.

Well, the legs that I bought are at the powdercoater. They have the same part #'s of R 46502-06 and L 46495-06 so I sure as heck hope they will fit!!! I am at work right now so I can't measure the ID of of the stock ones that are sitting on my garage floor. I would think with the same part number that they would be the same. If they changed the ID of the fork caps for a different axle, they would have to change the part number even if it was to an "A" or something.
