Welcome to the group. Brothers will do that to you. I used to ride Yamaha's, now we're both on Harley's. Of course I got the best one they make like you did. Oh, and don't forget about getting the IDS installed, too.
Funny thing about going from the ST to the RG. Last week I traded an 07' Ultra Classic for a new RG. This week I traded my 07' Kawasaki Nomad for an 05' FJR1300 Yamaha. Those sport bikes are a hoot. I hope that someday I can learn to ride that thing. Today my neighbor took it out and road tested it for me. 145 and smooth as glass he said. I took the new Road Glide this afternoon instead of the Yamaha. The comparison is like this, HD-70's model muscle car. Yamaha-late model high performance sports car. Whatever suits me that day is what I will ride. My family thinks I have lost it. I hope I don't ever find it. T.
Oh come on, it's a great b......hmmm...yes, I see your point. OK.
I HEREBY SOLEMNLY SWEAR THAT IF QUESTIONED ABOUT THE QUALITY OF MANUFACTURE, OR PERFORMANCE, OR RELIABILITY, OR PERSONAL LEVEL OF ENJOYMENT OF MY HARLEY-DAVIDSON ROAD GLIDE, I WILL RESPOND BY STATING THAT IT IS A "PIECE OF ****".
I WILL FURTHER RESPOND TO THE ENQUIRING PERSON OR PERSONS THAT THEY SHOULD NEVER, AT ANY TIME, CONSIDER PURCHASING SAID MOTORCYCLE, AND THAT THEY WOULD BE BETTER SUITED TO, AND MUCH HAPPIER WITH, A SPORTSTER, OR ELECTRA-GLIDE, OR FAT BOY, OR ANY OTHER HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE.
