Ordered crimson red classic yesterday.
After months of looking and pondering, I ordered the crimson red. Initially planned on black, but I really wanted a color witha little morelife in it. I never have been a fan of red, but that crimson really jumps out at you, at least in the showroom. Anyone here have the crimson red, and are you still satisfied with it. Bike won't be in for a couple of months, and I'll be worring about the color choice till then.

Congrats on the new scoot. Ifound aCandy Red Ultra Classicwhich I really like and am going to go look at it this week. Funny, when I asked the dealer about ordering, they said that they had already placed their orders and HD won't let them change colors right now. Not sure what thats all about.

My buddy has an 08 RG in that color...It's sharp, little flake in it so it sparkles in the sun...my pewter pearl EG does that too. I was kindapissed when I found out they were offering the red for 08 models (it would've been my first choice), but I got a better deal and a super low interest rate on my 07...I like the pewter a lot though,doesn't show dust or dirt right away and I've yet to see a pewter pearl EG anywhere I've ridden, and I like that...

I ordered my Road King Classic in August and it arrived less than 2 weeks ago. I really liked Crimson Red the first time I saw it on an Ultra.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've looked at photos of this color on the internet for hours, and every picture makes the color look different from how it looks when you actually see it. The harley website doesn't show the colors well at all. It seems like the color changesgreatly depending on the light.I'll probably be driving back to the dealership every couple ofweeks to look at one again.

I'm in the same situation as you. I ordered an 08 Deluxe and was undecided on the color. I like black, but i really wanted more color, so I'm getting it in Crimson Red. I know what you mean about the color looking different in every picture. I found several examples of crimson red bikes on cycletrader.com. Just do a search of 08 harley's and you should find several pics in different light. Even though I like the color, I'll be seconde guessing myself till it comes in. Good luck with your new bike!
