I don't know about the 450 but the 550 appears to be the one to get. The brackets are very expensive and I do use mine in the truck which I driver much more than the bike. Blue tooth may be utilized in the future if i ever figure out intercom, verbal directions from the 550, cell phone, radio, and talk to other bikers.
After using the 550 on a 1200 mile trip, I wouldn't be without it. But whatever you do, don't lose the security screw driver. But, if you do, don't ask about it here. The screw driver police that frequent this forum will jump your case and classify you as an idiot.
go 550 you won;t regret it. never thought i'd like or want a GPS on my bike, but it has been a big help on cross country trips. I couldn't live without one now
I have the 550 - best money I have spent - i carry it when I travel by plane and use it all over the the US and put it on the bike on the weekends. Haven't hooked up the bluetooth yet - I have to go to the dentist this week and I am not sure what blue tooth is.............[&:]
