I have 2 issues when riding. One is wind. The other is seeing at night. I hate the wind but since I got my RG it's not that much of a deal. Since night vision is a problem for me I paid close attention to the lights on my RG. The Ultra I had was much harder to ride at night. When the high beans are on night vision is excellent. With just the low beams on the RG is better with 2 lights than the Ultra was with 3. The only problem would be what Glens said, in a very dark place making a slow sharp turn. Don't buy the Road Toad there are much better bikes to choose from.

All my pass Bikes had Vetter Windbreaker fairings. Frame mounted, is the only way to go with a fairing. I had to ride from Tucson to Phoenix on one of those gusty days the hi-way signs say look out for. The RG had no problem cutting thru the buffeting from the cross wind and going around 18 wheelers that were going slow because of the wind. I had to tuck my head behind the wind shield but with my new "clearview 2" plus on order that won't be a problem any more.
YES I'm STILL In Japan. I MISS MY Bike. And You too Honey. Can i still Get the stuff on My wish list for Christmas??????

The biggest problem is you can't see the front wheel or the front wheel turning. That's what everybody tells me. They say they would never have one because of these issues. I will let them keep believing that is a big problem.

Reminds me of the time when I worked for a home builder as the customer service rep. All of the superintendants used to tell me they wouldn't have my job for anything. I never let on to the fact that it was probably the easiest job in the company.

If you have a crowded garage, you'll have to adjust to the fact that the fairing doesn't turn when you lock the fork. Leave a little more room on your left than with a Batwing.

As said, once you are moving on any bike and lean into a corner, no headlight moves into the turn as the bike leans over and the bars are not turned. Cars do not move either and we do just fine with them. It is a non issue
