Just changed mine out myself on my 05 Ultra. Dealer refused to warranty, even though there is an HD service bulliten M-1182. The new style motor mount P/N 16207-79C. Cost about $50. Bike now has somewhat less vibration while riding and less shake at idle.
This is how I replaced my front motor mount. You can change yourself with bike on side stand. Tough to do without air tools, hard get to the bolts that need to be removed.
You will need to remove the voltage regulator, unplug wires and leave hanging.
Remove the bolt through the center of the motor mount.
Remove the two motor mount frame bolts.
Place a jack under the engine, be sure to use with a small piece of carpet or wood to keep from damaging the bottom of the motor. Raise the motor only enough to take the pressure off the motor mount.
DO NOT RAISE THE MOTOR MORE THAN 1/4-3/8 INCH!! Again just enough to take pressure off the mount!!
Remove the front engine stabilizing arm bolt and the engine bracket that supports the motor on the motor mount. NOTE: You can not remove the motor mount by jacking up the motor, not enough clearance. (trust me on this one)
Remove the old motor mount, drop in the new mount and center with the hard smooth flatside towards the top.
Tighten as follows using new grade 8 bolts with blue Loctite: (you can get grade 8 bolts at Ace or Lowes)
Front engine mounting bracket to block to 18-22 ft-lbs
Front Stabilizer link to: 18-22 ft-lbs
Motor mount bolts on frame: 33-38 ft-lbs
Motor mount center bolt: 15-20-ft-lbs
Take a look here and tell your dealer it is of no cost to him, call the MOCO and get a refund, they were told to return their old stock if any for replacements...
Dealer refuses to warranty unless existing mounts have a problem. Not worth the BS and lies from the dealer, just replaced it myself and now it is done! I would have thought the reason for a TSB is because there is a problem?

I am going to speak to the owner this week.
Steve
So is the new mount rubber like the old style? Or is it urethane? The new one has a large metal washer on top as well doesn't it?

Bill, looking at that wordage, it appears to me that they are only replacing the dealers in stock never installed old type for the new type, and stating that the new ones will retrofit back to 1960 models. What is amazing is that the new type is only available for over the counter parts, they must have a cuzillion of the old type, because they are still coming from the factory with the old type and not the new one.
Well if it's gonna happen It'll happen to me! Mine started shakin' today, called the dealer and the "NEW" style mount is on back order. Go figure! I'll keep you posted.
