pitted lowers
I,ve been wanting to do something about my lowers, I dont have the $$$ right now the change to chrome, So I started with a little steal wool ( real fine ) with a lot of elbow grese they polished up real nice Took me about 5hrs and a six packor two But they came out alot better then stock. I know I took all the finish off Now I plan to keep them waxed Oh and I made sure to keep the wool out of my bakes

Yup, done that years ago and found out the hard way that they were coated! Just remember to stock up on the six packs each year cause you'll be polishing every year now. They do look good after you do them though!

After coat with this stuff called Zoop. Yes, it works as I have tried it on my motor, all part, and even white walls that it was never intended for. Keeps em' from getting dirty. We did one side. BTW we had to drink a case because we could. It took 3 min. but we knew we had to spend the time in advance that we would have spent cleaning them pesky whitewall without Zoop. No, that reasoning did not work with the wife either.
