RENT - RIDE - BUY

Recommend you rent & ride ALL TOURING models as while look alike - They ALL handle a bit different

With that said: I'm 6'4" 260lbs.... I own\ride '07 Road Glide & '01 Road King

Hey bro, I'm 6'4" 210 and ride a RK Classic. Added Highway pegs and the Road King high handlebars to alleviate the back pain from the stock bars. Plenty of room for me. I didn't see any difference in any dimensions when I rode other FLs. They were all fine with me and very similar fit.

I walked in to my local dealership last Saturday for a test ride on a new SG. It was a damn nice riding bike compared to my Lowrider. But I really felt like my knees were jammed up in to my chest! And I'm only 6' so I can only imagine what it would be like for you! Like I said, damn nice bike. But my Lowrider with footboards has better leg room! Saddled up on a RG and it really felt right for me.

I am 5'7' with a 29 in inseam. One of the reasons I bought the SG was the fit. I could set in the seat with both feet firmly planted on the ground. That said, for a taller person like yourself, I think you would be more comfortable with an Ultra with a high seat and suspension.

I'm 6'1", 275lbs. (all muscle of course) The SG is a good fit for me. The low windshieldmight be an isssue ifI were a little taller but as stated above it is an easy and inexpensive modification.
I don't have any problems with the shocks. I keep about 25 - 30 lbs of air in them becauseI sometimes ride 2 up.
Power is great. Handling is excellent. The lowered set up makes it look great... butI do drag my floorboardsin turnsfrom time to time.
I also installed Hwy. pegs so I can stretch out on longer rides.
I love the bike... no regrets.... but I'm not 6'4".

Rent before you buy... you will be glad.

28seven

your question about lean angles ..................

the answer is LOUSY LEAN ANGLES

28 DEGREES RIGHT

27 DEGREES LEFT (or is it 27 and 28 )

in any event ,lousy, i have little floorboards left.they start to wear out from the rear and the wearing out eventually reaches the top sides and then you get new ones and start the process all over again

and on the left side the first thing to go is the side stand

I am 5'5 160lbs and find that the SG fits me perfectly. I don't see how a taller person would be comfortable on it without major changes. Just my guess, maybe the damn thing is just universal.

Don't get a Street Glide I promise you will undoubtablly love it. You will not want to get off of it. My SG has been the most fun I've ever had on the numerous MC I've had. IMO the windshield is great and I'm 6'01 but anyway I've got to listen to it run before I go to work. Good Luck.
