Been a member of this forum for a while now andlove all it has to offer. Just sold my 05 Road King, past Sunday and just pulled the trigger on a new 2008 Electra Glide Classic, Vivid Black., alarm and Cruise, no ABS, didn"t want that I test rode one and the bremos stop great!Went to all of the dealersin the tri state area, yet I got the best deal at my hometown dealer Frank Lombardis and Sons, Bay Street, in Staten Island, New York. Sales Manager Mark C., Mike Lombardi's nephew, Markwhata a guy, what a deal. I hope to have the bike by this weekend. I will also be listing in the classified section some parts I took off my Road King. One thing I kept that Ill put on the new bike my WheelDock centerstand, Ill try to post picture as soon as I get Man Im effin psyched, Polar Bear Runs here I come!!Ride Safe My Brothers. Bill
You're gonna love the Glide. Won't be no going back to any other bike. I would reccomend the electronic cruise control. Had it dealer installed when I ordered my bike. The only bell or whistle I've learned to appreciate.

I just did the same, I traded my 06 RKC in on an 08 EGclassic gotta say I love the bike!! favorite aspect of my 08 so far would be the 96 engine and six speed tranny, although the Brembo brakes are a close second, i like the way the calipers look. Good call, I think you will love the bike.
