Here's a quickly done, not-too-great photo of the area in question, shot from underneath looking up. Note the bumper should be visible as shown. If not, it is probably lodged somewhere between the swingarm and caliper.
Hey, Just got to ride mine again. Has anyone gone over 80mph since they put the IDS on. Got my brake grommet straight, thought that was it. Right at 80mph my bike still vibrates the foot boards pretty good. Before 80 and after 80 it does not.. Does anyone else have that symptom?? Thanks..............
Mine is smooth as glass at 80. Or any other speed over about 65. With the vibration at only one speed it sounds like a harmonic caused by something rotating out of balance. Tire maybe?

The RPM at 80mph (speedometer) should be around 2850 RPMs. Does it vibrate at 2850 rpms in 5th gear? IOW, is it RPM- or speed-related? Check your mufflers to make sure they haven't moved backward, as if they go back far enough they can touch the mount metal-to-metal. If you had to remove your muffler to remove the axle for the IDS job and re-used the clamp, that might be the cause of the vibration. HD clamps are designed to go through one tightening cycle, then tossed, as they may not clamp tight enough again. I had trouble with my right muffler and couldn't solve it with new clamps, so I rigged a second rubber grommet in front of the standard one to keep the muffler from sliding backward. When my muffler moved back to make metal-to-metal contact on the rear mount I got a similar vibration at about that RPM, but mostly at heavy throttle.
