i bet it shakes becasue you are not using genuine HD oil or have a over heating problem.
WHy not start a new thread about the oil adn overheating. I dont ever recall that being discussed on this forum.

oh no...this is a bump....as this post needs to be seen....its indicative of the new HDF....i love it....my motor is shakin
Better a question that's been asked a million times from folks that won't use the 'search' function, than a million inane replies to an equally inane post from all the post ****** that lived here in the past.

Once again make sure that all the motor mount bolts are tight. Then have the compression checked, if there is a significant difference between the cylinders that will cause it to shake. If the difference is significant you need to do a leak down to help pinpoint the problemThen check your wires, spark plugs and injectors if you have them. Lastly if you got around 30-40,000 milesyou might want to check your lifters.

Try not to hold the front brake on when stopped. This will help reduce some transmitted vibrations.
