I have a 1/2, 3/4, and modular. I always wear one of them. When it's cold I use the FF modular but I hate it. It fogs up whenever I stop, really restricts head checks, and squeezes my chin 'til it hurts. I keep trying to get used to it, but its tough.
Being in NC where they just passed for "our" riding safety tat we must wear a FMVSS 218 approved helmet, I wear a beanie most of the time half some times, and when it's really cold a scorpion full face. The helmet thread turned me onto the scorpion and for the price $160 (I think I paid) - great quality product and would recommend to anyone looking at thinking of the purchase.

Man, I could never ride with a full face.
Just freaks me out to be that covered.
But, people say you do get used to it after while.
To each his own.
