Why? because you can. Why hop up the motor? Why chrome the forks etc.etc. Because you want something different of course. Unless I am traveling I don't need bags and besides the batwing on the bagger looks too cool not to have a bagger LOL.
Baggers look naked without there bags? Any idea who sells the covers that hide the shocks when the bags are off . I read about them on this site.I have been using the search engine but can't seem to find anything on them
The Dynas and sportsters seem to do find showing off their coils. I think the aesthetic is more about air shocks and general nature of the bike's being designed to have the bags on. W/O the bags, there's more "unfinished" looking stuff back there than just the air shocks.
Like it was said before WTF you bought a bagger leave the bags on You dont want them buy a SPORTSTER even if not traveling i use my bags i keep water maps sunscreen brain bucket sweatshirt lot of things but then i will assume when u r not traveling you only short ride

I see nothing wrong with removing bags. What ever floats your boat.I like alittle change now and then. I wish my wifes new ***** were adjustable, big one night and small the next.
