I have the HD cover for outside and like it alot. I have no garage so it stays covered and keeps the bike dry and protected. I like that it has the velcro slit for my antennas which most covers don't provide. All and all I think its a top notch cover IMO.

I have the H-D storm shield cover for my ultra. It is water- RESISTANT, not water proof. It is breathable and suitable for long term storage- part # 98742-96 (touring bikes). It is soft and has a felt area that fits over the windshield. It also has heat resistant areas along the bottom for the pipe and mufflers. It is very pricey though. But as was said earlier you get what you pay for.

I guess I should add that I do have a climate controlled room just off of my main garage that I keep the bike in. Also have fans running 24/7 to keep humidity down.

I have mine in a cycle shelter. Pretty nice product, but it will take ya an hour or 3 to assemble it. Water proof, and it never touches the bike!

If you haveany questions about this cover please call as I originally came up with the concept. The Bikes Undercover product is quaranteed not to scratch, and is actually the same material used for patient drapes and HEPA filtration. As we all know, condensation is not desired on our rides when they are covered. All waterproof covers will eventually allow condensation to build on your bike. Here's why: The surface below your bike, concrete, pavement, or the ground contains moisture and will rise. Changes in temperature change the relative hunidity in the air. Waterproof covers trap the moisture under them. Think about it. If the rides worth covering, is it outside? No. If your on a trip and you want to keep the rain off, we recommned using a water resistant cover, remove it after the rain has stopped, and ride like hell to dry it off.

Additionally, be careful with the covers that advertise having heat resistant shields, or lowers, on the bottom. The vast majority are made out of Nylon or a woven Polyester and will allow moisture to build up. The heat resistant material is generally Fiberglass, if it wont burn, or cotton. Cotton will collect dirt and debris and cause scratching. Cotton is also a natural fiber and wants to equalize with the RH, thus causing moisture under the cover

My 90th anniversaryEGlideis always covered with a BUC 003 when not in use.

The group at Bikes Undercover is always available to answer questions. The main phone # is 770-316-8779. I'll bet Mike will be happy to answer any questions
